“The Role of Bar Associations/Law Societies in Supporting Pro Bono” workshop formed part of the Access to Justice Exchange (A2JX), an annual platform that brings together institutions and practitioners dedicated to strengthening access to justice.
The Legal House (Thailand) team was honored to participate in this important workshop, which convened legal professionals, bar associations, and law societies to explore practical strategies for promoting and sustaining pro bono work. Discussions centered on developing supportive frameworks, enhancing ethical practices, and improving regional collaboration to empower practitioners and the communities they serve.
Our contribution highlighted the critical importance of institutional support and the role of law firms in fostering pro bono engagement, advancing fairness, and helping bridge the access-to-justice gap across Asia.
